Job Title: Joiner – Shop Fit Out

Rate: £23.00/£24.00 per hour

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Joiner to work on a shop fit out project in Pontefract. This role involves first and second fix joinery, installation of bespoke fixtures, and delivering high-quality finishes suitable for a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out first and second fix joinery including partitions, door hanging, skirting boards, and architraves

• Installing counters, shelving, display units, and timber features

• Working from site drawings and specifications

• Ensuring all joinery works meet retail fit-out quality standards

• Coordinating with other trades to meet project deadlines

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Following all site health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joiner in shop or commercial fit-out projects

• Valid CSCS Card preferred

• Own tools and PPE

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Attention to detail and a professional finish
