Groundworker/Labourer Required – York – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for  2x Groundworker/ 2x Labourer to join a busy Refurb/Civils project based in York, with an ASAP start available.

Job Details:

• Location:York
• Rate: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour CIS 
• Start: ASAP
• ⏱ Full-time hours available

Duties Will Include:

• Levelling and preparing ground around utility/service installations
• Operating dumper truck 
• Backfilling and compacting excavations
• Reinstatement and general groundworks
• Working safely around live services
• Using hand tools and small plant where required
• Supporting the site team with day-to-day groundworks activities
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
• CPCS/NPORS
• Previous groundworks or utilities experience
• Experience working around live services is advantageous
• Own PPE and relevant tools
• Reliable, hard-working and able to work effectively as part of a team
