Customer Service Executive

About the Client:

Our client is one of the UK's largest Industrial and Commerce companies, operating with a network of over 75 distributors and sourcing products from over 120 suppliers worldwide. 

Job Role:

As a Customer Services Executive you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be committed to providing world class customer service at all times.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £26,000 - £27,000 per annum.
  • 37.5 hours per week - Working Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00. (You will be required to work 1 Sunday a month)

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact to customers on the telephone, Live Chat and the 3 shared email inboxs.
  • Help to resolve queries relating to products, deliveries, damages, missing parts, quotations etc
  • Deal confidently with negotiations/discussions with the customer around replacements/returns of damaged goods/goods sent in error etc
  • Maintaining continuous contact with customers who have long lead times on deliveries
  • Be committed to continuous improvement to processes within the Customer Services department
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders; warehouse, finance, marketing

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience in a similar role within an e-commerce environment is essential (industrial, commercial & distribution)
  • Strong IT skills (Google Drive) and phone systems (Cisco).
  • Experience of working in line with KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools
  • Ability to deal with a variety of daily issues, multi task and prioritise work.
  • Methodical with high attention to detail and accuracy.
