Assembly Operative

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently seeking Assembly Operatives for a fantastic opportunity in Mansfield. This is a temporary-to-permanent role with full training provided.

About the Role of Assembly Operative:

• Precise assembly of small, intricate components, requiring excellent dexterity and attention to detail.
• Working with connectors, cable assemblies, and shielding components, ensuring they meet strict quality and performance standards.
• Using specialist crimping, insertion, and removal tools to assemble military-specification electrical connectors.
• Successful candidates will start in a dedicated training school before progressing to their assigned department.
• Working in a clean, air-conditioned environment with structured training and development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for assembling small parts is essential and experience must be evident in your CV application.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
