Thorn Bakers 2nd Corporate Annual Golf Day

The day saw an excellent turn out, with almost 70 golfers out on the course, a mixture of clients from our Industrial, Construction, Commercial and Perm divisions. Fortunately the weather held fair, and an excellent day was had by all (even if a number of golfers were seen 'hacking' around in the rough!)

The plaudits for the day went to Andy Kingston, Martyn Smedley (from Intimas) and Chris Antliff, Matthew Brown (from Lemonpath) who won the fiercely contested team event by 1 point, and in the process picking up their winners trophies and bottle of Champagne at the after game awards ceremony.

To top off a fantastic day we also managed to raise £118 for the MacMillan Cancer Care Charity, courtesy of forfeits from golfers landing in the many bunkers on the course!!
